Cadru didactic la Univ. Babeş-Bolyai, la Departamentul de Geologie. Practic speologia începând din 1984 (explorare, fotografiere). În anii de studenţie am practicat speologia cu Politehnica Cluj şi CSA Cluj. Actual sunt neafiliat la cluburi şi interesat în special de partea ştiinţifică (paleoclimă, geochimie, mineralogie etc.) a peşterilor.
